Well... it would seem that due to some shipping issues, Canada is the last place in North America to get Fighting Fantasy DS. Which kind of sucks, but at least it's getting out there. It's sold about over 30,000 copies already in total, and that's not with the European or the Japanese markets. Not bad, not bad. But what really makes me happy is going around and seeing the consumers personal reviews of the game. People are playing it, and they really like it. ^_^
It's great to go and read what items people have found and what ones they have on their character. People love that it's hard and it gives them a challenge rather then holding their hand during the game and liken it to a portable Oblivion. What really makes me happy though is when people go on about how good it looks. It makes me smile from ear to ear and lets me know that I did my job right. Of course, I couldn't have done it with out my art team, which totally rocked! Couldn't have done it with out everyone's help.
The only down part is that it's only been reviewed by 2 site and they gave it ass reviews! Reading around though people are pissed that the two out there are so bad and have called them out on it. Yay for the people!
I'm hoping a few more reviews make it out before Christmas. That would be nice for sure. ^_^
I've been given the ok to post some concept art up so I'll start here. I'm going to see if I can get other works posted (others as in from the other artists on the FF dev team) on Kotaku and such to get the word out even more.
If you're interested in a 3D, first person adventure game to take with you on the DS with awesome art (brag, brag), then hit up the link and show your support of Canadian developed games.
Thanks ^_^
